The newest iteration of Vantage model has a bold design, the expected luxury experience, and respectable performance specs. The new, 2019 Aston Martin Vantage looks like a lime-green portal to an automotive enthusiasts dream.
“It speaks volumes for the outgoing Vantage that it is the single most successful model in Aston Martin’s history,” Dr. Andy Palmer, Aston Martin President CEO, said. “Creating a worthy successor has been a challenge to relish and a huge source of motivation.”
The new model comes with a 4-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine pushing out 505-hp connected to an 8-speed ZF transmission. It has an electronic rear differential that can switch from fully open to fully locked in mere milliseconds. Engineers have given it a perfect 50:50 weight ratio so pushing it around the corners is sure to be rewarding.
“A true sports car with a sharper look and a keener dynamic edge, the new Vantage is the Aston Martin pure driving machine enthusiasts have been waiting for,” said Dr. Palmer.
The 2019 Aston Martin Vantage can accelerate from zero to 60 in 3.6 seconds, and has a top speed of 195 mph.
Aston Martin used the new DB11 chassis as the basis for the 2019 Vantage, with around 70 percent new structure components for better balance and rigidity.
“I’m enormously excited by what we’ve created: a new Vantage that’s more explicit in looks and intent, wrapping heart-pounding performance and dazzling dynamics into an everyday usable package,” Dr. Palmer said.
Head onto the inside and it’s spared no expense (obviously… it’s an Aston). Alcantara and leather adorn the interior along with other natural materials. Sport seats and a Sport steering wheel are extra, along with carbon fiber interior elements.
Consumer conveniences include Aston Martin Audio System, Bluetooth, navigation, Wi-Fi hub, and parking and driver assistive systems.
The 2019 Aston Martin Vantage is priced at $149,995. The grand touring sports coupe is expected in showrooms around Spring 2018. For more information, please visit Aston Martin New Vantage.
